I love Boone County. I was born here and I have lived here all of my life. I have traveled all over the United States and all over the Worldwhen I was in the Air Force. No place comes close to home. I have worked very hard as a private citizen to help the Boone County Commission, and the old Boone County Court. I have also helped the Boone County Fire Protection District and Consolidated Public Water District # 1. I have been a leader in the community with 4-H, PTA and other groups to numerous to mention.          

Now I want to move from the private citizen side of the table and over to the County Commissioner side. I am not running to jump to a higher office later.

          Boone County government is complex. We have a whole complement of elected and appointed officials that perform  a wide variety of government duties. If you live in a city, like Columbia or Ashland, you depend on the town for your basic services like law enforcement, streets, building codes and planning and zoning. But if you live outside of any town, like I do, you depend on county government for these basic services.

          I have far more experience in county issues than any candidate in this race and a broader range of experience. I will provide a common-sense approach to county issues and I believe I can work very effectively with other government officials. Put me to work for you!
